International House
OUC students are eligible to live in on-campus housing in the International House.
The international house, a modern 3 story facility, built in 1999, is designed for comfort, privacy, and convenience. International House is less than a 5 minute walk from the center of campus.
The address is: 4-4-15 Midori, Otaru, Hokkaido, 047-0034, Japan.
International House is comprised of 38 single person efficiency units (and 3 double room family units), each with a kitchenette, a bath, and a toilet. There is also a common area for group activities.
Each single room is furnished with a bed, a desk, a chair, a book shelf, a refrigerator, a closet, a gas range, a gas water heater, a gas heater, an intercom and lighting. Coin-operated washers and dryers are available in a common laundry room.
Boarding Fee and Security Deposit for the International House
International students must pay a security deposit including moving-out cleaning fee upon moving-in. The cleaning fee will be deducted out of the deposit and the remaining will be refunded when returning home country. Students also have to pay the boarding fee each month. (IMPORTANT: Fees are subject to change without prior notice)
